By the time we hit the bottom of the stairs, the smoke was thick and I couldn’t see a thing. “Police, hold it right there!” a thick baritone voice halted as a flashlight strobed.

About the Author
Leo L. Sullivan was born on the south side of Chicago. He moved to Sarasota, Florida with his mother when he was a youngster. Currently, he is incarcerated in a federal prison. He has languished there for over a decade proclaiming his innocence. In 1999, a federal judge demanded his immediate release after ruling on his case. Unfortunately, the decision was overruled by a higher court. All the proceeds from this book will go to his legal defense fund.
